The Renault D14 Centurion RAID

The Renault D14 Centurion is an armored law enforcement vehicle developed on a Renault Trucks chassis to meet the operational requirements of specialized tactical units. It combines excellent mobility with a high level of crew protection.

Operated by RAID (Recherche, Assistance, Intervention, Dissuasion), the elite tactical unit of the French National Police established in 1985, the Centurion is deployed during the most critical operations, including hostage rescues, armed barricade incidents, counter-terrorism missions, and the protection of strategic sites.

Its ability to rapidly transport an assault team while providing optimal ballistic protection makes it an essential asset during high-risk operations. Over the years, the Renault D14 Centurion has become one of RAID's most iconic vehicles, taking part in numerous operations widely covered by the media.

More recently, the general public had the opportunity to see its operational capabilities in a feature broadcast on the French television program Turbo on M6.
